Aubrey O’Day blasted her former mentor – Sean ‘LOVE’ Combs aka Diddy – for not actually saying he was sorry to his abused ex-girlfriend Casandra ‘Cassie’ Fine in the apology video he posted on Sunday morning.
The 40-year-old Baddies star’s career was famously launched in 2005 by the disgraced 54-year-old when he formed the girl group Danity Kane over three seasons of his MTV/ABC reality show Making the Band 3.
‘It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, sometimes you got to do that. I was f***ed up. I mean, I hit rock bottom, but I make no excuses,’ Diddy – who boasts 45.4M social media followers – said on Sunday.
‘My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it. I am disgusted now. I went and I sought out professional help, I got into going to therapy, going to rehab. [I] had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m so sorry. But I’m committed to be a better man each and every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness. I’m truly sorry.’
Aubrey noted that the embattled rap mogul ‘did not apologize to Cassie’ but ‘he apologized to the world for seeing what he did.’
‘He says he’s “disgusted [with] himself now, and he was disgusted [with] himself then,”‘ O’Day – who boasts 1.6M social media followers – posted on Sunday.
‘But apparently he wasn’t disgusted enough [with] himself to not PIN this statement out calling [Cassie] a liar & denying all of it… Leave god and mercy out of this, they aren’t present here, and you know it.’
The Stamina singer also reposted an Instastory about how ‘weak men hate strong women’ and how she was labeled ‘a problem child’ because she ‘never backed down from’ Diddy, which she captioned: ‘Well there is def physical proof of all of this.’
Aubrey – who’s been calling out the Harlem-born hip-hop star for decades – has been eagerly tuning into his downfall, commenting as his 37-year-old ex’s lawsuit dropped and then the ‘heartbreak’ of the settlement: ‘Welcome to another chapter of the system well in place.’
Diddy previously proclaimed innocence against Cassie’s ‘payday’ lawsuit alleging rape, abuse, and sex trafficking, which was quickly settled for an undisclosed amount on November 17 – until CNN leaked a video of him violently assaulting her in 2016.
Fine (born Ventura) claimed the three-time Grammy winner paid InterContinental Century City staff $50K for the security camera footage – which showed him smack her to the ground, kick her, throw glass at her, then drag her back to their hotel room.
The LA County District Attorney said they could not prosecute Diddy for the beating as California’s statute of limitations has passed (one year for assault, three years for aggravated assault).
The Connecticut-born songstress was only 19 when the then 36-year-old Diddy signed her to Bad Boy Records in 2005, and they reportedly dated between 2007 and 2018.

O’Day currently has a supporting role in the Caribbean-set fifth season of Natalie Nunn and Tanisha Thomas’ reality show Baddies, which airs Sundays on the Zeus Network.
The Cali-born blonde – who used to be the mistress of Donald Trump Jr. – also commands $50 on Cameo and her OnlyFans account is currently offering a free subscription.
