Jennifer Aniston Was Skeptical about the Presence of a Ghost in Her House

Jennifer Aniston was also one of those people who did not believe in ghosts until she experienced one herself. The actress claimed that she has not been able to forget the experience, no matter how much she has tried.
Aniston recounted how she initially did not believe that there was a ghost in her house when someone suggested the possibility. In an interview on The Late Late Show with James Corden (via The List), she said:
“Someone said to me, ‘Oh, you have a spirit in your house, and you should have someone come and clear the house.’ And I was like, oh, man, I have landed in Los Angeles. We’re talking about ghosts, spirits, and a ghost whisperer.”
It did not take long for the actress to start believing what the person had said. She eventually ended up calling a ghost whisperer to come to her house to take care of the matter.

Things started to get out of hand very fast as the ghost started making its presence more and more evident. This was enough to scare even the Murder Mystery actress. Speaking of the things that would happen, Aniston told host James Corden and guest Dolly Parton (via Outstanding Screenplays):
“This dishwasher would start to go, or the coffee maker would start to go, or the stereo would just turn on at full volume.”
When the ghost whisperer, whom Aniston had called over to the house, started talking to the ghost, her “really thick, thick, thick 1975 ashtray” which contained frankincense cracked. The actress was immediately advised to leave the house. According to the whisperer, the ghost did not like Anistion’s unnamed human roommate. However, Aniston did not tell the same to her roommate, and instead simply moved out.
