Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors earned a 128-121 away victory at the Crypto.com Arena, the home turf of the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. On an exciting night of basketball, barring the shot clock, and officiating controversies, it was great to see the two Pacific Division rivals battle and renew their long rivalry.

Seasoned veteran Curry also had a heated moment on the court with the LA Lakers’ D’Angelo Russell, who coincidentally were former teammates when Russell was on the Warriors’ roster during the 2019-2020 season. Both players were overheard trash-talking each other on two instances during the game.

Russell began it when he was trying to hype his teammate, LeBron James, whom Curry guarded during that play. Russell was heard screaming multiple times from the bench.

Go at his a**

D’Angelo Russell

The Baby-Faced Assassin wouldn’t let Russell go just like that and, after making an exquisite three-point shot, came right back at the Lakers’ bench and directed a clap-back directly at Russell.

Get your b*t** a** on the court.

Curry fired back

Steph Curry, however, had the upper hand as he led his team to another famous win over the Lakers. He scored 31 points, six rebounds and five assists. D’Angelo Russell also had a great game, as he ended the game with 23 points, three rebounds, and 13 assists.

Stephen Curry may consider running for President after retirement

While Curry was grabbing headlines for his on-court antiques, the Warriors superstar guard was also trending this week for his post-retirement thoughts. Stephen Curry has had a successful career as a pro basketball player, ushering in a new revolution and being a role model to many. As he is near the tail end of his career, many are curious what will be Curry’s next move post his NBA run.

Former NBA players, upon retirement, either move into sports management or become TV analysts. Still, no one has ever thought of wanting to occupy the most powerful office in the world, the presidency of the United States, except for one man, Stephen Curry. His circle includes former president Barack Obama, with whom he plays golf.

Maybe. I have an interest in leveraging every part of my influence for good in any way that I can, so if that's the way to do it, then. In 2028? Not that soon!

Curry, in a conversation with CBS Morning

While his dreams may be far-fetched, seeing one of basketball’s nicest persons do more for his community, and the people he deeply cares about would be great. Stephen Curry for President? Surely has a nice ring.
