Following his early playoff exit at the hands of the Nuggets, LeBron James had some extra time to devote to his family. But with the 2024 Paris Olympics right on the door, it’s time to get ready for LeBron.
LeBron James recently shared his recovery process after training and was seen showing off a pair of Nike shoes. The special shoes designed by Nike are used for recovery to rest the feet after grueling workout.
He posted the videos on his Instagram stories with the caption, “I don’t play about my recovery process. Treat your body how you treat/ed the first car you bought.”
“Nike spaceship 5000 on his feet is OD” A fan wrote.
“Genius brand ambassador” Another wrote.
“Oh my first car got wrecked. Haven’t wrecked one since. Knock on wood. This is a bad analogy.” Another person commented.
“I’d treat Lebron like the first car I owned fr my glorious king” someone joked.
“My first car wasn’t an illegal rule breaking Hummer like some – so I guess I didn’t look after my shit box as Lebron did his Jesus Shuttlesworth Uncle Hummer” Someone else said.
At the age of 39, LeBron needs to take special care of his body to prolong his NBA career as he will enter his 22nd year in the league when the ball is tipped off for the 2024/25 season. Aside from his extra care in the recovery process, LeBron maintains a strict diet and exercise schedule that can be a blueprint for any athlete in the world.
LeBron James Diet and Training Routine
To be 39 and move like a 20-year-old on the court, takes special genetical excellence. LeBron certainly possesses that, and it cannot be achieved without proper maintenance of the body.
According to TotalShape, the 20-time NBA All-Star starts his day with breakfast consisting of fruits and protein-based substances. Eggs, yoghurts, and smoked salmon do the bit for starters. For lunch and dinner, LeBron intakes more protein-based food such as chicken along with veggies, which includes rocket salad. The food is mainly prepared using olive oil to stave off cholesterol.
As for his training routine, the former Cavs forward starts his week with exercises focused on the upper body, followed by plyometric sessions the next day. Plyometric training focuses on speed drills and agility training to keep his reflexes fast.
On day 3, the focus shifts to the back, triceps, and trapezius. Day 4 is cardio day, and 5 is leg day. Day 6 again involves plyometric training and yoga. On the final day, it’s all about resting the body before running the same process again. Now that you have the secret recipe for LeBron’s superhuman abilities, you’re free to try it for yourself, but there can only be one king, and the Lakers star is not here to relinquish the crown just yet.
