Arnel Pineda Stands Tall Against Racism: Vows to Keep Singing for Journey
Journey’s frontman Arnel Pineda has taken a stand against racism, responding to critics and racists on Instagram. In a post set against the backdrop of John Lennon’s ‘Love,’ Pineda emphasized his commitment to continue singing with or without Journey, expressing that it’s in his blood.
Addressing bashers, foes, racists, bigots, and haters, Pineda extended a message of peace and understanding. He stated, “Yes, I want a better life. Yes, I want to be acknowledged with what I do best, but never, ever have I ever dreamed, nor have I ever desired so deeply to be a part of the band you love and respect so deeply.”
Pineda reflected on fate, destiny, divine intervention, or luck that brought him to Journey. He acknowledged causing pain and offered to take the blame for the satisfaction of his critics. Expressing a belief in forgiveness, love, peace, unity, and harmony, he hoped for forgiveness and urged others to embrace love over hate.
In conclusion, Pineda emphasized his pride in his wounds, comparing them to beautiful scars. He wished peace and love to everyone, declaring that love always wins.
