Donna Kelce brought some serious mom energy to sons Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce’s live taping of their New Heights podcast.
On April 11, Jason and Travis took the series on the road when they filmed an episode at the University of Cincinnati’s Fifth Third Arena. The football players’ mom, Donna, was also on hand to show her support by handing out Subway sandwiches to the crowd (Subway was one of the event’s sponsors, per Page Six).
In photos obtained by the outlet, Donna can be seen mingling with a crowd of fans as she handed out subs. Seeing her take care of her sons’ fans is reminiscent of Scott Swift — the father of Travis’ girlfriend pop superstar, Taylor Swift — passing out sandwiches and fruit to his daughter’s fans at her Eras Tour stop in Sydney last month.
Not only did Donna provide sustenance to attendees, she also posed with an impressive balloon bouquet.
In a photo shared on the official New Heights X account (formerly known as Twitter), the proud mom was seen with a collection of balloons in the shape of a Kansas City Chiefs jersey and a Philadelphia Eagles jersey, the respective teams of Travis and the newly retired Jason.
She also had one dedicated to her that read, “World’s Best Mom.”
Jason and Travis’ live show also ended up providing their mom and dad, Ed Kelce, a chance to see them walk across the stage and accept their diplomas. While both NFL legends earned college degrees, neither of them made it to their actual commencement, per the Cincinnati Enquirer.
In a video shared by Dan Hoard, the radio voice of Cincinnati Bengals and University of Cincinnati, Travis celebrated the moment by chugging a beer in front of his parents and a raucous crowd, who cheered on his effort.
“Receiving a diploma…Travis Kelce style,” Hoard put it on X, while the university shared a collection of photos with the caption, “A surprise commencement we’ll never forget. Congratulations to Travis and Jason on (finally) picking up their diplomas!”
