Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie, drank pints of Guinness, posed with “adoring” fans and showed off some impressive Irish dance moves while celebrating St Patrick’s Day weekend at an Irish bar and restaurant in Pennsylvania.

The Philadelphia Eagles legend, who recently announced his retirement, popped into The Towne House in Media, located around half an hour from Philadelphia in Delaware County, on Saturday for another green celebration.

The Towne House, owned by Patrick Kennedy, 32, from Co Donegal, and Brian McLaughlin, 50, from Co Tyrone, was delighted to welcome the couple. Footage on social media shows the crowd going crazy when Kylie, who has an Irish dancing background, stepped up for a jig with the McHugh School of Irish dance, and keeps up with every step.

“Sláinte and thanks to legendary Eagle Jason Kelce and family for joining us for a few scoops of the black stuff on this day where we all celebrating the wearing of the green,” a bar spokesperson said.

“Jason was so generous and hospitable with his time for all the adoring fans in attendance. His wife is a helluva Irish dancer by the way!”

The Towne House owners, Patrick and Brian, own several famous pubs in New York and Pennsylvania including Carraghers, loved by and named after former Liverpool FC star Jamie Carragher, and The Ridley House in PA.

The duo are opening The Hometown in Rush Township, a beautiful, centuries-old castle and former bank this summer.

It is not the first time Jason, whose brother is Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has shown his love and appreciation for the Irish community in Philadelphia and beyond. In March 2019, the NFL star “graciously accepted” an invite to watch a hurling and football match in Limerick Township.

The 36-year-old watched from the side-lines as Na Tóraidhe Philadelphia played Jersey Shore in a game of hurling followed by the Delco Gaels men’s football team who took on Donegal Philadelphia shortly after.

The dad-of-three is retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons. The Eagles star will hang his helmet up following the end of the 2023 season, ending speculation about his future following the Eagles’ loss in the playoffs last season.
