Taylor Swift was spotted on a night out with friends amid reports she has now entered her single era.

The “Lover” singer was pictured leaving New York City hotspot Via Carota Monday night after having dinner with producer and friend Jack Antonoff and his fiancée, Margaret Qualley.

The outing marks the first time Swift has been seen out in public—other than at her Eras Tour concerts—since reports emerged of her breakup from longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Over the weekend, various sources confirmed the Grammy-winning singer and the actor decided to split following six years together.

Entertainment Tonight insider said they quietly broke up “a few weeks ago,” and it was “not dramatic,” but rather amicable. They added, “The relationship had just run its course. It’s why [Alwyn] hasn’t been spotted at any shows.”

Then, a People source claimed the breakup was largely caused by “differences in their personalities.” Swift and Alwyn “had rough patches before and always worked things out, so friends thought they would take some time apart but eventually come back together,” the source said, noting that “ultimately” they “weren’t the right fit for one another.”

Neither Swift nor Alwyn have publicly commented on the reports, though fans on social media have noted that the pop star has been crying and getting emotional while singing some of her most heartbreaking songs during her Eras Tour performances—most recently “Champagne Problems.”
