Taylor Swift is pairing up with Spotify to get her fans ready for the upcoming release of her next album.

On April 15, Spotify announced that it would be collaborating with the “Cruel Summer” singer on a “library installation” for her upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department in Los Angeles.

In a press release, the company revealed that the exhibition allows Swifties to explore an open-air poetry library, “highly curated to represent the direction of the new record.”

The installation’s shelves will be packed with books and “visual surprises,” according to Spotify — presumably all references or inspirations for Swift’s next release. It will be updated daily with new materials daily while open, and the company teased that the library might include a few hints about what’s to come on The Tortured Poets Department.

The library will be on display at The Grove in Los Angeles from April 16-18, but for those Swifties who can’t attend, fear not — Spotify notes that all the surprises and the album countdown will be available on Swift’s album countdown page and music distributor’s social channels.

Less than a week out from the release of The Tortured Poets Department, Swift is kicking things into high gear. Earlier this week, she collaborating again with Spotify to remind fans to pre-save the album on the platform with a special video message.

“Hey Spotify, happy release week of The Tortured Poets Department album,” Swift says in the black-and-white video. “Make sure to preserve the album and keep checking back for more updates from the department.”

In the video, Swift can be seen sitting behind her typewriter, which she also used to tease some of the lyrics from the upcoming album on April 8 (also the day of the solar eclipse.

“Crowd goes wild at her fingertips/Half moonshine, Full eclipse,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time.

Swift first made the surprise announcement that she’s releasing her eleventh studio album, during her acceptance speech for best pop vocal album for Midnights at the 2024 Grammy Awards (which also marked her 13th Grammy award, famously her lucky number).

During the speech, Swift thanked her fans for their support of her 10th album, Midnights, and said she wanted to repay them by telling them a secret she’s been keeping for two years: the details of her brand-new album.

Immediately after she left the stage, her social media accounts shared more information on the upcoming drop, including the cover art, the title The Tortured Poets Department, and the tagline, “All’s fair in love and poetry.”

The day after the album’s announcement, Swift unveiled the official tracklist for the album, which has caused many Swifties to theorize about the titles.

Side A includes “Fortnight,” “The Tortured Poets Department,” “My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,” and “Down Bad.” The songs on Side B are “So Long, London,” “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Fresh Out the Slammer,” and “Florida!!!.”

The new album is slated to drop on Friday, April 19.
