In the video released by TMZ, Taylor Swift and her dad got into an altercation with the paparazzi as they exited a yacht. The scuffle captured in the video ends with images of shaking, where a scuffle is believed to have occurred. Later, a paparazzi named Ben McDonald came forward to denounce being assaulted by Taylor Swift’s father. Mr McDonald said: “He punched my left side causing my jaw to hurt. Maybe he just wanted to protect his daughter, but I didn’t really do anything provocative. Having been in the profession for 23 years, this is the first time I have faced such a situation.”

Taylor Swift’s representatives responded that the paparazzi acted extremely aggressively, even nearly pushing a female employee into the water. However, the paparazzi denied it and said that these claims were not true from the singer’s side. Currently, police are still investigating and working with both sides to clarify the incident.
