In the video released by TMZ, Taylor Swift and her dad got into an altercation with the paparazzi as they exited a yacht. The scuffle captured in the video ends with images of shaking, where a scuffle is believed to have occurred. Later, a paparazzi named Ben McDonald came forward to denounce being assaulted by Taylor Swift’s father. Mr McDonald said: “He punched my left side causing my jaw to hurt. Maybe he just wanted to protect his daughter, but I didn’t really do anything provocative. Having been in the profession for 23 years, this is the first time I have faced such a situation.”

Taylor Swift’s representatives responded that the paparazzi acted extremely aggressively, even nearly pushing a female employee into the water.
