Kansas City Chiefs’ very own Drue Tranquill just put pen to paper on a shiny new three-year deal with the squad. He dropped the news with a bit of a tease, suggesting he’s got some unfinished business to attend to at Arrowhead Stadium.
Tranquill, who’s 28, really made his mark last season, kind of flying under the radar but playing a crucial role in the Chiefs’ epic Super Bowl LVIII win. He was there, game after game, during the entire postseason ride that culminated in hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy. After switching from the Los Angeles Chargers, Tranquill’s first season with the Chiefs was nothing short of remarkable, hitting the field in all 16 regular-season games. And guess what? Travis even gave him a shoutout on the latest “New Heights” podcast episode.Drew Tranquil ladies and gentlemen is one of my favorite f**king teammates.
