Travis Kelce says Taylor Swift romance has him ‘even more on top of the world’ than when he won the Super Bowl this year with the Chiefs – and insists the attention is NOT an issue

Travis Kelce says his new romance with Taylor Swift has left him feeling happier than when he won the Super Bowl earlier this year with his team.

The Chiefs star spoke to media on Friday afternoon and was asked about how his state of mind is with so much more attention fixed on his every move.

‘As all the attention comes, it feels like, you know – I was on top of the world after the Super Bowl and right now even more on top of the world now,’ he said.

‘You have got a lot of people that care about Taylor, for good reason. Got to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.

‘We’re learning with the paparazzi taking photos all over the place but it comes with it.’

Swift has made it along to watch Kelce play in his last two games for the Chiefs but it is not yet known if she will be there to see the game in Minnesota against the Vikings on Sunday.

Kelce, who turned 34 this week, insisted the new found attention will not distract him from football.

‘I’ve always been pretty good at compartmentalizing and being able to stay focused din this building. I will just keep rolling with that man.

‘Everybody is having fun with it, whether I think they are overdoing it or not. I know I brought this to myself and I’m fortunate enough to have fun with it. All that really matters is that it isn’t p***ing anyone off, over here at least.’

Kelce had earlier this week appeared reluctant to go into too much detail on things between himself and the pop star.

In the latest episode of his New Heights podcast – which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles – he criticized the NFL for the amount of attention it was giving Swift when she was at his games.

NBC cut to Swift 17 times during Sunday’s game, to which Kelce said: ‘Damn, that’s crazy. That’s like once a drive. Mom told me everyone was enjoying themselves.

‘They are not there to get thrown on the TV. You never know you get caught throwing down a big old cheeseburger and you look like an idiot.

‘There are certain things you just don’t want to be on TV at all times.’

Swift was at the game in New York with some of her A-list friends, including Ryan Reynolds, his wife Blake Lively, and Hugh Jackman.

Travis didn’t otherwise address the Taylor links in his podcast – he and his brother repeatedly joked about how there were other celebrities watching the game without ever mentioning her presence.
