LIBERTY, Mo. —A Liberty 6-year-old who has been flooding your newsfeed with photos of his amazing Halloween costume of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes got an awesome surprise Wednesday.
Jaxson Proctor got to school in costume on Wednesday and was greeted with an autographed football from Mahomes himself.

A note on the football read, “To Jaxon – Awesome costume!” and was signed by Patrick Mahomes.
Photos of his spot-on recreation became a viral sensation this week.
“The putting together his look was pretty simple,” Timeka Proctor, Jaxson’s mother, said.
“The headband was really hard to find. It’s sold out everywhere. A friend and I had to put our heads together and create it. He lost the first headband, so we had to buy the materials and make a new one.”
Mahomes even re-tweeted Jaxon’s uncle’s tweet of the costume.
