Taylor Swift gave a heartfelt thank you to her fans for a “pretty spectacular year” after she won yet another award.

The global superstar was named Artist of the Year during the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards on Monday and while she didn’t attend the ceremony she did her best to make her joy known to her followers. Taylor, 34, jetted back to L.A. on Monday Taylor was also given five other awards on the night including Pop Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year.

Taylor was introduced by Backstreet Boys star A. J. McLean and NSYNC’s Lance Bass as she popped up on a big screen to talk to attendees at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.Stood in front of a plain white wall she said: “I want to say thank you so much to anyone who voted for this award. iHeart, you have just been so incredibly supportive over the course of my entire career.

“Especially this year has been pretty spectacular. I’m so grateful for that. To the fans, it’s completely up to you to choose how you spend your time, what concerts you want to go to, what music you want to make the soundtrack to your life.

 

She continued: “To anyone who has included me in those choices, I’m so, so, so thankful for that. You know, we have so many exciting things ahead of us. I’m continuing on with the tour.”
