EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY - OCTOBER 15: Jason Kelce #62 of the Philadelphia Eagles looks on before the game against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on October 15, 2023 in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

After a stellar 13-year NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, future Hall of Famer Jason Kelce decided to call it a career after the 2023 NFL season, as he was finally ready to move on from football being part of his everyday life.

In the aftermath of Kelce’s retirement, the Eagles have been forced to find his replacement on the offensive line, which will be no easy task, as he retired from the game as arguably one of the best centers in the league.

Along with leaving behind an incredible playing career in Philadelphia, Kelce has the Hall of Fame to look forward to while also hearing all the praise from his former teammates, who have had nothing but good things to say about the Eagles legend.

One of those former teammates is Eagles offensive lineman Landon Dickerson, who recently appeared on The Jim Rome Show and talked about what Kelce meant to him and the team while he was one of the squad’s leaders.

“I think he was a tremendous person and teammate overall. Just how to carry yourself. He didn’t really care to be too flashy with anything,” Dickerson said.

It seems that Kelce made as much of an impact as a person and a friend on his Eagles teammates as he did as a leader on the football field for the storied NFL franchise in the City of Brotherly Love.

Fortunately, Kelce’s voice will still be heard for many years to come as he runs one of the most successful and popular sports podcasts right now called New Heights, which doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon.
