A day after she declared for the WNBA Draft, Angel Reese spoke out about the whirlwind that came along with her announcement.
On Monday night, LSU lost to Iowa in the Elite Eight of the most-watched game in women’s college basketball history.
On Wednesday, Reese officially stated her college career was over with an announcement in Vogue Magazine, by saying she is headed to the WNBA.
The crossover to a non-sports outlet to break the news was in line with the way tennis legend Serena Williams announcer her impending retirement, also with Vogue Magazine.
The WNBA Draft is April 15, with Reese a likely candidate to be chosen among the top-three picks.
