Travis Kelce sent Taylor Swift fans wild with an adorable subtle nod to his popstar girlfriend while playing golf on Wednesday.

The Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, is known to be a keen golfer and enjoyed a round with former NBA star Chandler Parsons this week.

Parsons shared a clip of Kelce lining up a shot with Swift’s song ‘Bad Blood’ blasting out in the background but that wasn’t the only reference made to the tight end’s superstar girlfriend out on the fairways.

The Super Bowl winner kept the songstress close as he hit the course with a sweet nod to her musical success in his attire.

Kelce, dressed appropriately for the clubhouse in a striped polo shirt and chinos, wore a Sherwood Country Club cap that contained not one, but two Swift Easter eggs.

Eagle-eyed Swifties were quick to notice that Kelce’s hat contained the date ‘1989’ – the year both he and the songstress were born and the title of her fifth album.

The date is also the year the golf course of Sherwood Country Club, located in Thousand Oaks, California, was founded.

The golf course has held multiple professional tournaments, including Greg Norman’s former ‘Shark Shootout’ event, the first of which was held at Sherwood Country Club also ironically in 1989.

Sherwood Country Club’s badge, which was stitched on to the front of the cap, also features an archer, which references the course’s history with the Robin Hood movies filmed on the acreage in the 1920s.

But many fans were quick to point out that it in this instance it could be interpreted as a nod to both Swift’s song, ‘The Archer’ from her record ‘Lover’ and Kelce’s previous touchdown celebration.

The Easter eggs sent Swifties wild on social media as they praised the NFL icon for being a ‘1989 stan’.

One fan posted: ‘His hat says 1989 AND has an archer on it.. you can’t make this stuff up!’

‘You can take killatrav out of 1989 but you cannot take 1989 out of this man,’ another wrote.

‘Bad blood while golfing and wearing a hat that says 1989. slay,’ one gushed about the tight end.

‘Never beating the 1989 stan allegations,’ one chimed in, while others added: ‘you’re kidding me, he’s such a 1989 enthusiast,’ and, ‘He’s such a 1989 girlie.’

Parsons blast out ‘Bad Blood’ in what appeared to be a ploy to distract the Chiefs star – but Parsons soon learnt that Swift isn’t only inspiring sporting success for Kelce on the football field.

Kelce appeared to hit an approach shot onto the green that he was thrilled by and ran up to the camera using his iron as an air guitar and mouthed the words to ‘Bad Blood’ back down the camera in celebration.

‘@KillaTrav cannot be rattled,’ wrote Parsons alongside the clip.

Last week, Kelce and Swift headed to the Bahamas in the Caribbean for a short break together.

Swift is in the middle of a two-month break between Eras Tour dates while Kelce is enjoying the NFL offseason after a magnificent Super Bowl victory with the Kansas City Chiefs.

After his trip to the Caribbean, Kelce was pictured back in Ohio last week and has since been seen in Los Angeles, where he is believed to be spending time with Swift.
