The music mogul and X Factor judge, 71, spoke to hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about his controversial stint on the resurrected programme, which ended on Friday with Louis finishing in fourth place while David Potts came in first.
During his stay, he send tongues wagging incessantly with shock comments about former colleagues in the outside world – including branding his X Factor acts Jedward ‘vile’ but divulging he made millions from the Dublin-born twins.
On his comments, Louis said: ‘I was telling they were really like. I have worked with people I said things about that I regret. Especially on national TV. I was only going to be honest. I didn’t want to fake it. I didn’t want to do it like everyone else was.’
He did however defend his cruel comments about Ronan Keating, who he called ‘a p***k’, as he stated: ‘Ronan is a bit of a panto. I loved working with him. Very talented. He sacked me but I don’t resent him. He is a good earner’.

Ronan seemed less amiable, as he appeared on TV last week to claim that Louis was ‘showing his true colours’ as he fought the urge to ‘air dirty laundry’.
Louis managed Ronan while he was a member of Boyzone, however he was later sacked when his solo career rocketed after leaving the Irish boyband.
Speaking to Patrick Kielty on The Late Late Show, he said: ‘I’ve never been one to air dirty laundry in public, especially when it comes to Louis. He does a very good job of that and I think he’s showing his true colours in there and I’ll leave him be.’
Louis caused controversy during his stint on the show, as he spilled secrets about his music industry life and his outspoken views on celebrities.
Among his slurs, he blasted Anna Wintour and James Corden, however his most explosive outburst was at Jedward, who later hit back at the star.
Speaking about his friend Sharon Osbourne, who was on the show for a fleeting stint, he said: ‘She’s not afraid to say what she thinks. She was in her own bedroom.’
Louis meanwhile hit back at criticism of his input into the house, saying: ‘I was absolutely shattered. There was a lot of people in there all performing. Cleaning and cooking, performing for the camera. I didn’t want to do that…
‘They said I was lazy. I don’t cook food much. I was not cleaning up.’
During one episode, Louis claimed that ‘novelty’ act Jedward were ‘vile’ but made him a lot of money, as he told Coronation Street’s Colson they ‘made him £5m’

Prior to his appearance on This Morning, a repentant Louis claimed he’s going to try and be a ‘better person’ after leaving the house.
Speaking in an interview just days after the final, Louis claimed he’s going to try and be ‘nicer’ after ‘reality check’ cancer diagnosis.
He told The Sun: ‘Cancer is a great reality check. This whole experience is going to change me. I’m going to try and be a better person. I am going to try and be nicer. I am a bit catty. I always let people know what I think of them, that’s just me.
‘I was only telling the truth. I wasn’t trying to be catty, I was just reporting what I saw. I was brought up to say it like it is. Some of the housemates were just boring and bland and playing to the cameras.’
Louis also revealed he secretly suffered from insomnia and anxiety during his time in the house – with medics forced to treat him off camera. He experienced two panic attacks in the early hours of the morning, admitting ‘the night times scared him’.
