Spurs (DR)
Victor Wembanyama adapted to his teammates as the season progressed, and vice versa to Spurs.
His agreement with Devin Vassell delights Gregg Popovich, who returned to the subject at a press conference.
Even if the Spurs had to lose against the Mavericks this Tuesday evening, Gregg Popovich’s men showed some interesting things.
A little fragility offensively, but good things in defense, like Victor Wembanyama’s 6 blocks.
The latter is getting his bearings with his partners, to the point where his understanding has greatly improved compared to the start of the season.
Gregg Popovich honest about the duo Vassell/Wembanyama
This is true with Jeremy Sochan, despite a few oversights , but it is especially the case with Devin Vassell.
Both players embody the future of the Spurs, so it is better for the team that this duo gets along wonderfully once on the floor.
Gregg Popovich, at a press conference this Tuesday, said he was satisfied with the progress.
Asked Pop about the Dev-Vic two-man game: "They've gotten better and better as the year goes along. In the beginning it was weird. Nobody knew what to do around Victor. He didn't know what to do around them. They never played before with someone of Victor's size so it took time."

I asked Gregg Popovich about the Devin Vassell-Victor Wembanyama duo and their two-man play:
“They’ve gotten better as the year has gone on.
At first it was really weird.
No one really knew what to do around Victor.
And he didn’t know what to do around them.
They had never played with anyone Victor’s size, so it all took a while.
It is clear that Vassell and Wembanyama communicate better together, to the delight of Popovich.
It remains to be seen whether Devin will be able to raise his level of play in the future and establish himself as the star of the team with Wemby.
The supporters are in any case won over if we trust a few messages from Internet users.
The duo played by Vassell and Wembanyama is a reason for hope.

I found my love for sports again
Devin Vassell and Victor Wembanyama are seen as the saviors at Spurs.
Two players whose future looks bright, even if they will have to come to an agreement to allow San Antonio to return to the top of the Western Conference.
Gregg Popovich and the fans are confident.
