Josh Jacobs has left the West Coast.

Las Vegas Raiders free-agent running back Josh Jacobs has left the team and is reportedly signing with the Green Bay Packers.

Free agency negotiations started at 11 a.m. Central Monday. Ink can start going on the contracts on Wednesday.

Jacobs led the NFL in rushing yards in the 2022 season and scored 12 touchdowns. He’s had more than 800 rushing yards in every one of his five pro seasons since he was a first-round draft pick in 2019.

The 26-year-old rushed for 805 yards on 233 carries with six touchdowns in 13 games last season with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jacobs got to hit free agency this offseason not as hot of a commodity as he was a year ago, but hot enough for the Green Bay Packers. Now that he has a change of scenery, Jacobs can try to get back to that All-Pro level. He’ll do so on a Packers team that is set up to be very good offensively.
