Kirk Cousins might be underrated as a negotiator, but his talent for attracting money is becoming more apparent.

The veteran quarterback is headed to Atlanta, having agreed to a four-year deal with the Falcons.

According to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero, the Falcons deal is worth $180 million and includes a signing bonus of $50 million, while he’s due $100 million guaranteed.

Kirk Cousins Has A Knack For Securing Mega Deals
It appears Cousins has made a habit of signing lucrative contracts. Sharp Football Analysis’ Warren Sharp has put together all of the player’s contract sums since he entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick in 2012.

The Washington Commanders drafted Cousins from said round as a backup option, having selected Robert Griffin III as the No.2 overall pick

The veteran QB has since signed for $411 million and has made close to $330 million in fully guaranteed money.

That’s pretty insane for a guy who wasn’t even the best QB in his team’s draft class when he went pro. He just might be the GOAT of NFL contracts.
