Britney Spears recently sparked concern after paramedics were called following an incident at the luxury Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles, but the Toxic hitmaker played down the drama
Britney Spears risked an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she pulled down her tiny minidress.
The 42-year-old uploaded a video of her posing in a yellow silk dress in her dressing room, as she put on a fashion show to distract fans from her recent drama. “Fashion forward!!!” she captioned the clip, which featured Luis Fonzi and Justin Bieber’s track Despacito. While adjusting her dress, she tried to slip down the top part which was folded over, but almost exposed herself, and laughed off the awkward moment. Fans also speculated if her boyfriend Paul Soliz was behind the camera, as Britney constantly looked over and locked eyes with someone who was not in the shot.
The Toxic hitmaker has been uploading several videos of her trying on different dresses as she recovers from her hotel room drama earlier this month. Paramedics were called to the boutique Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles amid reports Britney was “out of control” and had injured herself during an alleged fight with her boyfriend in her suite, according to TMZ. She was pictured outside the luxury hotel clutching a pillow and wearing no shoes, as she was escorted into a waiting ambulance to be checked over by paramedics.
However, she hit back at the controversy surrounding the drama, and in a post on Instagram, told her fans she had simply injured her ankle and paramedics had “illegally” showed up to her hotel suite. “Just to let people know… the news is fake!!! I am getting stronger every day!!! I also twisted my ankle last night and paramedics showed up at my door illegally. They never came in my room but I felt completely harassed. I’m moving to Boston,” she fumed.
Britney later shared a short video of her swollen ankle, as she insisted there was no fight between her and her boyfriend, but instead she had injured herself by “leaping” around her room. “I really twisted my ankle last night… It’s so bad… F—— idiot here tries to do a leap here in the living room at the Chateau and I fell, embarrassed myself, and that’s it. Paramedics came to my door, illegally, and of course caused this scene, which was so unnecessary, when all it needed was ice. But yeah, it is actually pretty bad,” she explained.

Brian Humphrey, spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department, did not identify the pop icon as the subject of a 911 call at the Chateau Marmont, but confirmed paramedics were dispatched to the hotel after receiving a report that a woman had been injured. The incident occurred just days after her divorce from Sam Asghari was finalised, following their split last year. The couple, who were married for just 14 months before they parted ways, have reached a settlement in their divorce, but no further details have been released.
