Not any Disney princess, this hot girl is the prototype for the upcoming animated version of Billie Eilish.

Ever since vocalist Billie Eilish released her new album called Happier Than Ever, fans have been excited by the spectacular makeover and increasingly disruptive lyrics.

Since then, the virtual reality concert Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter To Los Angeles produced by Disney+ has not been beyond fans’ expectations. Especially when Billie Eilish appeared under an extremely impressive 2D version, inspired by cartoons from the 1980s – 1990s.

Billie Eilish surprises with her blonde comeback, a far cry from the rebellious style of any year

The animated version of Billie Eilish will drive around Los Angeles while expressing the emotion for each song on the album Happier Than Ever

CinemaBlend recently spoke with director Patrick Osborne – the man behind Billie Eilish’s new creation. According to him, the idea of animating people came from Billie herself, as the 19-year-old singer remembered her childhood memories:

“Billie wanted to see Los Angeles in a noir style, especially something like Who Framed Roger Rabbit or Cool World. These are all very prominent semi-animated, half-live-action films from the 1980s. She wanted to bring this hand-drawn style back to the modern world, stuff them in the middle of each song, and then make a splash at the end.”

Because it was molded by “House of Mouse”, Billie Eilish’s cartoon image was immediately compared by netizens to the famous Disney princess. However, surprisingly, the prototype for this image came from Jessica Rabbit – the fiery heroine in the musical film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, who once famously said: “I’m not a bad guy. I’m just acting like that.”

The character Jessica Rabbit once caused controversy for being too sexy when appearing in children’s cartoons

Director Patrick Osborne went on to share more about the Bad Guy singer’s idea: “Billie Eilish once told me about her love for the character Jessica Rabbit, saying that the upcoming animation needs to be developed in that direction. Although there was a bit of a glitch when Billie suddenly dyed her hair back. I was like, ‘Oh, wow… blonde’ because the character design was almost completely done before. Luckily, the team was able to adjust accordingly.”

In addition to Jessica Rabbit’s inspiration, Billie Eilish’s stormy appearance is also very similar to Holli Would, a blonde female character from Cool World. Both of these characters possess strong personalities and surreal physiques, reminiscent of Billie Eilish’s “love yourself” statement before.

After a long time of public criticism about her appearance, Billie Eilish has defended herself and switched to dressing more “revealing” in a new series of MVs
