Dua Lipa sizzled up a storm in her music video for new single Illusion, released on Thursday.

The 28-year-old English and Albanian singer was pictured writhing around on a platform in the middle of a large pool, surrounded by a circle of synchronized swimmers.

She wore a fiery red see-through mesh dress cinched in at the waist with a thick black belt with metal rivets.

While striking sultry poses she sings the chorus: ‘Ooh, what you doin’?/Don’t know who you think that you’re confusing/I be like, Ooh, it’s amusing/You think I’m gonna fall for an illusion.’

In the video, Lipa and a slew of her dancers perform acrobatics while splashing in the water, with a city skyline in the background.

The star then sings: ‘I already know your type, think you can play your cards right/Don’t you know I could do this dance all night?’

The video starts outs with the singer in a black thong bodysuit as she walks around the large platform nearby the pool and supervises as dancers in short shorts do their workout routine.

Another part of the clip features the star straddling a diving board in the eye-catching outfit.

She sings the first verse: ‘I been known to miss a red flag/ I been known to put my lover on a pedestal/ In the end, those things just don’t last/ And it’s time I take my rose-coloured glasses off.’

While performing sultry choreography she goes into the pre-chorus: ‘I already know your type, tellin’ me the things I like/ Tryin’ make me yours for life, takin’ me for a ride/ I already know your type, think you can play your cards right/ Don’t you know I could do this dance all night?’

Dua and her team then move into the pool, as she sings the second verse.

‘Was a time when that s**t might have worked/ Was a time when I just threw a match and let it burn/ Now I’m grown, I know what I deserve/ I still like dancin’ with the lessons I already learned.’

In the third part of the video Dua slips into a sheer black lace mini dress as she continues to shows off her dance skills alongside her backup dancers.

The single comes from her third album Radical Optimism, which is set to be released on May 3rd.

She has already released two other singles from the record, ‘Houdini’ and ‘Training Season.’
