The betting odds for Patrick Kane’s next team have been released and we now know that the Bruins, Stars, and Avalanche are the favorites to land the American superstar winger.

The betting odds released today actually have the Detroit Red wings as the favorites to land Kane, but that is only because he is currently with the team. He has been given +115 odds to re-sign in Detroit, giving the possibility 46.5% implied odds.

However, many fans might argue that re-signing in Detroit is not so likely as the team failed to make the playoffs this year, something that is reportedly very important to Kane. With that in mind, the top three teams make a little more sense.

The three teams other than #LGRW with the best betting odds to land Patrick Kane are #NHLBruins, #GoAvsGo, and #TexasHockey

The Boston Bruins, at +800 odds figure to easily make the playoffs again next season. However, Kane is a winger and the team is in most need of center depth. As such, the fit might not be perfect. Like The Bruins, the Avalanche are in need of center depth as well, unless Gabriel Landeskog can return after missing all of 2022-23 and 2023-24 with a knee injury.

That just leaves the Dallas Stars with their +1000 chance, roughly 9% implied odds. The Stars have plenty of depth in their forward core in general, but Joe Pavelski could be on the verge of retirement and Matt Duchene may price himself out of the team after signing a one-year 3 million dollar contract with the team. As such, Kane could be a great fit for the Stars.

Patrick Kane to return to Blackhawks?

That being said, we have left out on notable possibility so far. The Chicago Blackhawks were not even listed on the odds, but they potentially have a chance to bring back their superstar. While making the playoffs is reportedly very important to Kane, other reports have emerged this summer that he may be open to a reunion with the Blackhawks, where he would be able to mentor the next face of the franchise in Connor Bedard.

The Athletic Reporting That A Patrick Kane Return To Chicago Isn’t Impossible This Summer

It is certainly an intriguing possibility, even if it is a bit of a longshot. Regardless of what happens, it will certainly be interesting to see where Kane ends up this summer.
