Kansas City Chiefs teammates Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have announced their venture into the business world off the football field. The three-time Super Bowl champions are set to open an upscale steakhouse in early 2025 in partnership with Noble 33, a renowned hospitality group.

The restaurant, named 1587 Prime, will be situated within the Loews Kansas City Hotel, spanning an impressive 10,000 square feet across two floors. The name, 1587 Prime, ingeniously combines Mahomes and Kelce’s jersey numbers, paying homage to their on-field achievements. Football enthusiasts may also notice subtle nods to the duo’s accomplishments in the form of decor and ambiance within the establishment.

Mahomes and Kelce’s collaboration with Noble 33 was a natural fit, considering their existing admiration for the group’s restaurants located in Los Angeles, Scottsdale, Las Vegas, New York, Toronto, and London. Notably, Kelce celebrated the Chiefs’ latest Super Bowl victory with friends at one of Noble 33’s restaurants, Toca Madera, in Las Vegas.

Expressing their enthusiasm for the project, Mahomes stated, “Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City.” Kelce echoed this sentiment, emphasizing their excitement to create a unique dining experience for their hometown.

According to reports, 1587 Prime will feature multiple private dining rooms, a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen, and a captivating meat display. Additionally, the restaurant will boast an extensive wine collection, potentially one of the largest in the state.

This partnership represents more than just a business endeavor for Mahomes and Kelce; it’s a way to give back to their community and elevate Kansas City’s culinary scene. With their combined success on the football field and now in the realm of hospitality, Mahomes and Kelce are poised to make a significant impact beyond sports. As the anticipation builds for the grand opening of 1587 Prime, it’s clear that this venture will not only redefine dining experiences in Kansas City but also solidify Mahomes and Kelce’s status as dynamic entrepreneurs off the field.
