Taylor Swift joined up with Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively to go trick-or-treating in Manhattan’s West Village on Sunday for Halloween.

The songstress, 31, was well disguised in a vast squirrel costume, that she unveiled on social media earlier in the day alongside a caption reading: ‘Can’t talk right now, I’m doin hot squirrel s***’ with an emoji of a squirrel.

Her superstar pal Blake meanwhile went for an edgy ensemble which made her look like a black and white character, thanks to clever make-up.

She continued, ‘Thanks for being my first YouTube beauty tutorial. I only had 10 mins and thanks to your awesome instructions I pulled it off. Yes I’m covering my boobs with a wig. Don’t we all? No? No??!’

Taylor’s kooky costume meanwhile sparked further theories about her current work projects among fans on Sunday.

While the look was seemingly innocent to some, others took the look as a hint at an upcoming release, as many speculated that she was alluding to her re-recorded video for her 2012 song We Are Never Getting Back Together.

It was revealed last year that Taylor would be re-recording all of her albums following a massive public fall-out with Scooter Braun and her former label, Big Machine, and she now seems to be hinting at her work via Halloween.

One fan account additionally captured images of production equipment being loaded into her apartment.
