The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Golden State Warriors at the Crypto.com arena tomorrow night. It is a crucial game for both teams as they are fighting for the 9th spot in the Western Conference standings. Unfortunately, tomorrow’s Lakers vs. Warriors clash might not be as star-studded as fans would like. Several stars from both teams, including LeBron James and Stephen Curry, are on the injury report and might miss the highly anticipated matchup.

According to the Lakers’ latest injury report, LeBron James’ status for tomorrow’s game is questionable. He has been dealing with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy for several weeks. It is a condition that causes pain around the outside of the ankle or foot. LeBron has frequently been in and out of the lineup due to the injury and might miss tomorrow’s game.

Further, his co-star Anthony Davis has also been dealing with lingering bilateral Achilles tendinopathy. AD’s status for tomorrow’s game is probable.

Apart from LeBron and Davis, several other key players are out for Saturday’s game. Colin Castleton, Cam Reddish, Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent, and Christian Wood will not play tomorrow.

On the Warriors’ side of things, Stephen Curry and Draymond Green have been listed as questionable.

Steph has missed the last three games due to an ankle injury and might miss his 4th straight game tomorrow against the Lakers. Draymond was also out for Wednesday’s game against the Mavericks due to lower back soreness. He later revealed on his podcast that he has been dealing with back issues for the last 4-5 games. Draymond hoped to return Saturday against the Lakers, but the injury report has raised concerns.

With so many stars on the injury report, there is no telling which team will come out on top tomorrow. If either LeBron or AD misses tomorrow’s game, it could cause a huge problem for the Lakers. LeBron is averaging 25.2 points, 8 assists, and 7.2 rebounds and has been an offensive juggernaut in his 21st season. AD has been a menace on both ends, averaging 24.7 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks. The Lakers need D’Angelo Russell and Austin Reaves to step up if either star misses the crucial game.

The Warriors on the other hand, desperately need Steph and Draymond back in the lineup. They are 0-3 without them this season. Steph has been their best player all season, averaging 26.9 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.4 rebounds. The Lakers and Warriors are tied at 1-1 in their season series, and whichever team wins tomorrow will gain the upper hand. The NBA World is hoping for all superstars to be available tomorrow so that they can witness another classic rivalry game.
