The Tesla owner gave his opinion on the former couple’s legal battle and denied having had an affair with the actress while she was married to the Hollywood star.

Elon Musk has denied sleeping with Amber Heard behind Johnny Depp’s back and jokingly challenged the Hollywood star to a fight. “I definitely did not have an affair with Amber while she was married to Johnny, this is totally false,” the Tesla founder told the New York
Times about the claims made during Depp’s explosive libel trial against The Sun tabloid in the UK.

Musk, a 49-year-old father of six, laughed when asked if it was true he had had a threesome with Heard, 34, and model Cara Delevingne, 27, at Depp’s Los Angeles penthouse. “We didn’t have a threesome. I think people think these things are generally more raunchy than they are,” he told the paper.

Insisting that he only began dating the actress after she split from Depp, Musk suggested during an hour-long phone interview that it is time for the former couple to “bury the hatchet and move on.”

Musk, whose fortune is estimated at $66 billion according to Forbes, laughed again when the newspaper asked him about revelations in the London court that Depp disparagingly called him a “mollusk.”

Furthermore, the actor allegedly threatened to cut off his penis after finding out about his wife’s alleged affair with him. When asked about the text messages the Pirates of the Caribbean star had allegedly sent him threatening him, the Tesla boss joked: “If Johnny wants a cage fight, let me know.”

“I hope (Depp) recovers from this situation,” the tycoon concluded.

Appearing at London’s High Court on behalf of The Sun newspaper, whose publisher, News Group Newspapers, is being sued by her ex-husband for libel over a 2018 article that called him a “wife beater”, Heard, 34, denied having an affair with Musk, or anyone else while married to Depp.

The actress claimed Depp, 57, attacked her on at least 14 occasions, often threatening to kill her, and that he slapped her, hit her in the head and kicked her during violent jealous rages fueled by her excessive drug and alcohol use.

Depp denies hitting Heard and says her allegations are a hoax.

In her witness statement, Heard said Depp had accused her of having affairs with numerous co-stars and that he became enraged by jealousy, leading him to become violent.

The court heard allegations that Heard had exchanged text messages with Musk in May 2016, following a violent outburst by Depp in which he punched her and destroyed her Los Angeles penthouse.

Depp’s lawyer read several text messages between Heard and Musk that were exchanged just hours after a fight she had with Depp on May 21, 2016. In one, Musk offers her his own security detail, and in another, he writes: “I’m sorry for being an idiot. The radio silence hurt me so much.”

It only matters because I like you a lot.”

Musk complained that his feelings were “hurt” when Heard cut off contact with him during her marriage to Depp, according to text exchanges between them played in a British court on Tuesday.
