Eminem’s guest judge appearance on Rhythm + Flow Season 2 was a highlight of the show, but it also gave fans an unexpected moment between him and fellow judge Latto. During the “Battles” round, Eminem turned to Latto and said,

I love you, by the way. You’re fucking incredible. I gotta tell you that.

The compliment left Latto visibly flustered, but the fast-paced nature of the competition left little room to process the moment on-screen. Recently, Latto opened up about the experience during her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, sharing just how starstruck she was:

First of all, I was so gagged. I didn’t even know… I was like, oh, I bombed that. He thinks I’m weird because I just was like, “AH!” I didn’t know what to say! My daddy listened to Eminem so much growing up. It’s probably his favourite ever rapper. So I was just like, “Oh, don’t lie to me, for real?!” And he was like, “Yeah”.

Latto also shared how she worked up the courage to ask Eminem for a photo later on, adding,

He probably thinks I’m a little awkward.
