BRITNEY Spears praised her lawyer Mathew Rosengart for “getting her through” her ankle injury.
The singer, 42, was left with a twisted ankle after reportedly getting into a fight with boyfriend Paul Soliz at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.

Paramedics came to Britney’s hotel after her reported altercation with Paul in her room.
She was seen barefoot on Thursday morning wrapped in a blanket and clutching a pillow as she left the hotel.
Britney shared several videos of her swollen foot on Instagram on Thursday, saying she got it from “leaping around” the living room of the hotel “like an idiot.”
The mother of two also posted a photo of lawyer Mathew posing with a dog.
“Psss this man is wonderful !!! He’s like a father to me and he got me through last night !!!” she wrote.
“I adore you and admire you mister Mathew!!!”
In 2022, she credited Mathew with “turning her life around” after he helped end her conservatorship of 13 years.
At the time, Britney posted photos of them in matching pink outfits at lunch.
“This man has turned my life around… Thank you for being so kind and respectful to me always! I simply adore you!” she captioned them.
She appointed Mathew as her lawyer in 2021 to represent her in her conservatorship battle.
Paramedics arrived at Britney’s hotel on Wednesday night after a 911 call was made about an injured woman.
A woman matching Britney’s description was allegedly harassing and threatening the hotel employees and guests, according to TMZ.
Police arrived at 10:30 pm and left after there were no reported signs of trouble.
BRIT’S INJURY
Britney and Paul then went to a hotel room around 11 pm, where sources claimed they got into a physical altercation and she injured her leg.
“I really twisted my ankle last night like an idiot just to show proof. Don’t look at my feet I need a manicure,” the singer said in a video on Instagram hours later.
“It’s so bad. F***ing idiot here tries to do a leap in the living room at the Chateau and I fell, embarrassed myself and that’s it.”
She added that paramedics caused a “huge and unnecessary scene” and that “all she needed was ice.”
Britney Spears’ conservatorship timeline
In September 2021, Britney’s case returned to a Los Angeles courtroom where Judge Brenda Penny made a number of bombshell rulings, following her father’s decision to end the conservatorship the month prior.
She ruled to rid Jamie of his daughter’s conservatorship, however, it did not mean the end of the conservatorship altogether.
Speaking in court, Judge Brenda Penny said: “Based on what I read in the filings, and I read everything. I do believe the suspension of Jamie Spears is in the best interest of Britney Spears.
“The current situation is unattainable. The court finds the toxic environment Jamie Spears has created needs to be removed today.”
Following the judge’s decision, a temporary conservator was put in Jamie’s place for about a month.
In early November 2021, Jamie was back in court filing new legal documents that show he’s done fighting.
Jamie had previously demanded $2 million in exchange for stepping down but documents at the time showed that he was not seeking any further compensation.
On November 12, Judge Penny ruled in favor of the pop star, removing Jamie from the position of conservator without requiring any further mental examination from Britney.
Britney went on to blame her mom Lynne for the incident.
“I know my mom was involved!!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened before the news being out!!!” she wrote.
The Crossroads actress said she “couldn’t stand” her mother and wished she had grandparents.
In a separate post, she said she felt “harassed” by paramedics and wanted to move to Boston.
The incident came after she finalized her divorce with her ex-husband, Sam Asghari, 30.
Sam filed for divorce in August 2023, citing irreconcilable differences, just 14 months after their marriage.
