Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever travel to Barclays Center in Brooklyn to face the New York Liberty on Saturday, as we offer our best Fever vs. Liberty predictions based on the best WNBA odds.

No. 1 pick Caitlin Clark has had a challenging start to her WNBA career, averaging 14.5 points on 30.4% shooting over her first two games. She’ll have another chance to shine today when her Indiana Fever take on the New York Liberty at 1 p.m. ET on ABC.

The Liberty, favored by 14 points, dominated the Fever with a 36-point blowout in Clark’s home debut on Thursday. Our best sportsbooks anticipate a slightly closer contest in this rematch, which features Clark and Breanna Stewart, both preseason favorites by the WNBA MVP odds.

Here are our best Fever vs. Liberty predictions and Caitlin Clark player props (odds via our best sports betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Fever vs. Liberty predictions for today

Liberty -14 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ahead of these teams’ first meeting on Thursday, I was unsure how the Liberty – the No. 2 team in my WNBA power rankings – would respond to the early challenge of a raucous crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. That looks a little silly in hindsight, as Stewart settled in early and made an MVP statement in Clark’s home debut.

You don’t think she’ll be eager for more of the same Saturday, the first game of the season broadcast on ABC? I haven’t seen the Fever’s defense put up much resistance inside this season, and until they do, it’s going to be tough for them to hang with the top teams in the league.

Breanna Stewart Over 30.5 pts + reb ⭐⭐⭐

Stewart, the reigning WNBA MVP, faded in the postseason last year and opened this season with a curiously low eight points on just nine shot attempts – each among the lowest marks of her entire career.

She shook that off Thursday with 31 points and 10 rebounds, and it makes me feel even better that it came against the very team she’ll face Saturday. She attempted 21 shots vs. Indiana for the seventh time in 42 regular-season games with the Liberty. Three of those games came against the Fever. If we see aggressive Stewie in this one, she could cash this bet by the third quarter.

Best odds: -104 via FanDuel

Caitlin Clark player props for today

Caitlin Clark Under 24.5 pts + ast ⭐⭐⭐

Even with Clark’s obvious difficulties in her transition to the W – which should be expected, by the way – our best sports betting apps continue to hang higher totals for the No. 1 pick than she’s proven capable of hitting so far.

Clark has fallen short of this mark in all four preseason and regular-season games to this point after scoring nine points (2-for-8 shooting) with six assists in Thursday’s loss to the Liberty. It’s only going to get tougher at Barclays Center, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she tries to pick her spots more judiciously on Saturday.

I’m not a huge fan of these -118 odds, which pay out only $8.47 on a $10 wager with a 54.13% implied probability, per our odds converter. That’s why this is only a three-star play. But until the market adjusts to what a rookie Clark might look like, I’ll keep finding ways to bet the Under.

Best odds: -118 via FanDuel

Caitlin Clark 6+ rebounds ⭐⭐

This is the one affirmative bet I like on Clark, especially if she continues to struggle with her offense as teams throw extra attention at her defensively.

Clark clearly wants to get her career off on the right foot, and with her shot not falling, she can still impact the game as a rebounder. We saw that on Thursday, when she grabbed seven boards on the defensive end alone amid another tough shooting night.

The books with the best best sportsbook promos are offering Clark’s rebound total (4.5) at roughly even odds, but this bet at FanDuel pays twice as much for one more rebound. I like betting into volatility with players who are struggling, and this is one of the best ways to do just that.
