Jennifer Aniston stole the spotlight at the Emmy FYC event for her hit drama The Morning Show on Sunday.
The 55-year-old Friends alumna — who plays TV anchor Alex Levy on the Apple TV+ series — looked incredible in a chic sleeveless dress as she arrived at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.
The star radiated charm in a deep red number adorned with a floral pattern, accentuated by a matching ruby pendant gracing her décolletage.
Completing the look with a pair of red high heels, Jennifer kept her sandy blonde locks styled shoulder-length and loose.
The Emmy winner led a cavalcade of stars at the red carpet event, including cast mates Jon Hamm, Billy Crudup and Mark Duplass.
Hamm and Crudup both exuded effortless cool in their classic suit jackets and shirts as they posed with the cast on the iconic movie studio lot.
The Morning Show was among the first offerings available to subscribers when the Apple TV Plus streaming service debuted in November 2019.
It delves into the inner workings of the fictional UBA news network. The series explores the lives of the individuals responsible for delivering the world’s leading stories and the intricate internal politics they navigate.
Since its debut in 2019, the show has been a standout on Apple TV+, garnering over 50 award nominations.
Aniston received the SAG Award in 2020 for her role as anchor Levy, while Crudup earned an Emmy Award in 2020 for his portrayal of UBA president Cory Ellison.
The third season introduced new costars Nicole Beharie and Hamm.
Hamm’s casting was announced back in August 2022, months after Apple aired a series of ads poking fun that their shows feature, ‘Everyone But Jon Hamm.’
Hamm plays Paul Marks, a ‘tech titan’ who ‘takes an interest’ in the fictional network UBA.
Beharie’s casting was also announced in August 2022, with the Sleepy Hollow actress playing Christina Hunter, a new anchor on The Morning Show.
She is described as, ‘grounded, competitive and charismatic Millennial,’ who, ‘works hard, plays hard and navigates the Teacup with good-humored irreverence.’
Aniston and Witherspoon returned as Levy and Bradley Jackson respectively for Season 3, alongside Crudup (Cory Ellison), Duplass (Chip Black), Nestor Carbonell (Yanko Flores), Karen Pittman (Mia Jordan), Greta Lee (Stella Bak) and Julianna Margulies (Laura Peterson).
Charlotte Stoudt serves as showrunner and executive producer for the upcoming Season 4, alongside Mimi Leder, who directs and executive produces.
In a November interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Stoudt revealed that the writing for season 4 has already begun.
She hinted that fans can anticipate seeing the repercussions of season 3 unfold ‘in every sense and for every character.’
‘If we asked the audience to go on that ride, then we have to honor that ride,’ she said.
Stoudt also revealed whether the show will feature another time jump in the upcoming season.
‘I think you probably have to have some kind of time jump, because it takes so long to write and shoot and post the show,’ she explained.
‘You don’t want to get too far behind in real time, in terms of the era we’re playing and when people are watching it. But I think those time jumps, actually, are great. Because they allow for really surprising reveals at the top of the season.
‘It’s a little bit of: “How did they get there? Wait, he’s doing what? Those two are together?!” I think just on a sheer deliciousness of story, you can have a lot of fun with this big cast.’
Although a premiere date has yet to be announced, if the trend of releasing a new season every two years persists, season 4 is likely to debut in 2025.
Season 1 premiered in November 2019, followed by season 2 in September 2021, and season 3 in September 2023.
However, potential delays due to the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes could push the release date even further.
