Khloe Kardashian has been criticised by fans for joking that her brother Rob Kardashian could be the father of her son Tatum.

The 39-year-old star and her ex-partner Tristan Thompson welcomed their son in 2022, with Khloe choosing to use a surrogate to expand her family. They are already parents to five year old daughter True.

However, she expressed concern over a potential mix-up at the surrogacy agency when she noticed Tatum didn’t resemble her or his basketball player dad. During an appearance on the SHE MD podcast with Dr. Thais Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney, Khloe admitted she took drastic steps to confirm there was medical proof that Tatum was indeed hers.

“I made Tristan do three DNA tests for Tatum. He was so offended, she recalled. ” she remembered. “My son looks just like my brother. Because he was an IVF baby or a surrogate baby, I was like, ‘Rob, have you ever donated sperm somewhere? ‘”.

Khloe continued: “In this family, that would not surprise me, but that would be so disgusting. But I remember she [her doctor] was like, ‘You’ve already done a DNA test! ‘ I go, ‘I need to do another one, I need to figure it out.'”

The mum-of-two revealed her little brother Rob could pass as a doppelganger for her 21-month-old tot, with even Kris Jenner and other fam members saying the nipper is the spitting image of Uncle Rob. The reality TV queen’s bombshell confession on the podcast left fans gobsmacked, with X, formerly known as Twitter, going into meltdown over her words.

One user blurted out: “I beg your finest pardon?” Another typed:: “Is this not insane ? ? ? No way this is real.” Someone else was baffled, asking: “Now why would you tell people this?”.

Khloe had a rough ride starting surrogacy in 2021, finding out just after the embryo transfer that Tristan had been playing away and knocked up fitness guru Maralee Nichols. Despite his wandering eye, Khloe reckons he’s still a top bloke, but there’s no chance of a romantic reunion.

“He made mistake, but he’s the nicest guy. And we get along so well now. We’re not meant to be together, but he was meant to be the father of these kids,” she spilled the beans.

The 33 year old Cleveland Cavaliers star, dad to Prince, 7, Theo, 2, and Tatum, 21 months, as well as his and Khloe’s firstborn True, 5, has been praised for his parenting. “I’ve seen some other fathers that are not great fathers. I’m very grateful that I have one that wants to be in their lives, that’s active every single day even though he doesn’t live here full time,” she said.
