Travis Kelce is ‘f***ing pumped’ at Hollywood Brown joining the Kansas City Chiefs as team goes for historic three-peat: ‘The guy can absolutely fly’

Travis Kelce is ‘f*****g pumped’ to welcome speedster Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown to Kansas City after the former Cardinals and Ravens receiver signed a deal worth up to $11million with the Chiefs.

After beating the 49ers in the Super Bowl, Kelce and his teammates will be going for a historic three-peat – and the tight end is thrilled to have Brown playing opposite him.

‘He’s worth every penny,’ Kelce said on his ‘New Heights’ podcast alongside his brother Jason. ‘And he’s about to go crazy this year… put a stamp on it.’

Kelce continued, ‘The guy can absolutely fly. Talked to my guys, my Oklahoma Sooners on what type of guy he is and everybody just raves about the person he is in the building.’

The Chiefs star also brought up the text message that Brown received from head coach Andy Reid before officially signing with the team, as Reid wrote, ‘Hollywood, think Red today, KC Red with diamonds!!!.’

Brown then responded, ‘Yessir Love the sound of that. Think Hollywood Brown, Lights, Camera, Action.’

Of that exchange, Kelce said ‘If there’s one guy that knows a little bit about Hollywood it’s Andy Reid, baby.’

Brown, whose best season was an 1,008-yard effort in 2021, was spotted working out with his new quarterback Patrick Mahomes just a day after signing with Kansas City.

According to Spotrac, Brown is guaranteed $6.5million, while he can earn up to $1million in touchdown incentives (seven TDs needed), $1.5million in playing time incentives (75 percent of snaps) and $1.5million in receiving yard incentives (1,000 yards).

Brown will also receive a workout bonus of $250k and can earn up to $250k for being active in every game.

Later on ‘New Heights,’ Kelce urged his teammate L’Jarius Sneed to ‘just stay’ with the team.

Sneed has already been given the team’s non-exclusive franchise tag for next season, which will pay him $19.8million.

But the defensive back wants a long-term deal and urged Kansas City general manager Brett Veach to ‘pay me’ after the Super Bowl.

Sneed has reportedly drawn massive trade interest from other teams – though Sneed recently expressed his desire to remain in KC.
