Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill claimed he has yet to hear back from Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce since texting him earlier this week ahead of their NFL Wild Card clash on Saturday and blamed Taylor Swift for getting ghosted by his former teammate.
Hill, 29, spoke to the media after practice on Thursday and admitted he has yet to text Patrick Mahomes since the Chiefs defeated the Dolphins in Germany earlier this season, but did try to reach out to Kelce, who is now “too famous” for him due to dating Swift.
“I haven’t texted Mahomes since they beat our a–,” Hill said. “I texted Kelce, but he still hasn’t texted back. He’s probably still on his Taylor Swift thing.
“But yeah, man. Those guys are too famous for me now, I guess.”

Prior to the Week 9 matchup between the Chiefs and Dolphins in Germany, a 21-14 victory for the reigning Super Bowl champions, Hill was talking plenty of trash.
His tune has changed ahead of the elimination game and it’s probably because the Chiefs defense held Hill to just 62 receiving yards on eight catches with zero touchdowns.
Dolphins are coming off back-to-back losses to end the regular season and will enter a blistering cold Arrowhead Stadium to take on Mahomes, who might also struggle in the snow, at least according to his wife.
