Rihanna brought her unique sense of style to Coachella music festival on Saturday night.

The singer, 36, slipped into a quirky fur coat and thigh high boots as she strutted her stuff around the star-studded event in California.

She added a thigh-skimming black leather skirt to the look and had on a navy distressed hoodie under the beige fur.

Rihanna accessorised with a series of silver and coloured necklaces and dark shades.

She was there for Tyler, the Creator’s set who was joined by her partner A$AP Rocky for the headline performance.

She wore her curly blonde tresses tied up and opted for a typically glamorous makeup look which was completed with a shiny lip.

Her outing comes just after it was revealed that she has ‘a lot of visual ideas’ for a new album.

Fans have been patiently awaiting for her ninth studio LP for eight years following the singer’s last album, Anti, which was released in January 2016.

However, it seems the wait is set to go on as the mother-of-two has said that so far she is having a lot of creative ideas but no songs to go with them yet.

Speaking to Interview Magazine, she said: ‘I have a lot of visual ideas. It’s weird. My brain is working backward right now.

‘I usually have the music first, and the music leads me into all of these visual opportunities, and now I’m having all of these visuals, and I don’t have the songs for them yet, but maybe that’s the key, this time,’ added the pinup.

‘Maybe the visual ideas are leading me to the songs that I need to make,’ noted the cover girl.

Asked further about the inspiration behind her new tracks, she said: ‘Random ideas, quirky ideas, things that have nothing to do with me at all.

‘I mean, I can’t tell you. The opps is watching.’

Soon before the actress also revealed she’s excited ‘for what is to come’ claiming that the album that will be released next will be something of a rebirth.

Rihanna told Complex: ‘I’m in an era of discovery. And maybe it’s rediscovery because so much is changing, and some things are fleeting. And some things are yet to be discovered, right? And I’m in the centre of all of that.

‘So I’m not on a landing yet, but I’m excited for what is to come because I have the feeling of what it is.

‘But I can’t put it into words, and I know the journey is going to be exciting of getting there. And that’s not just with fashion or my daily routine … with music, all of it! I’m really excited to explore things right now.’

Rihanna and A$AP were first confirmed to be dating in November 2020 after previously collaborating together and being spotted at events – such as Paris Fashion Week back in 2018.

At the time, a source told Entertainment Tonight, ‘They have always had amazing chemistry, and Rihanna relates to A$AP, and it [their relationship] feels natural, easy and fun.’

‘She feels very comfortable around him since they’ve known each other for such a long time and also feels a connection to him because his dad is from Barbados.’

A few years later, the lovebirds welcomed their first child, a son named RZA Athelaston Mayers, in May 2022.

Their second son named Riot Rose Mayers was born in August 2023 – after the singer announced the pregnancy during her Super Bowl Halftime performance earlier that same year.
