Travis Kelce Feeds Taylor Swift ‘Conspiracy Theorists’ With Talk of Baby Names

Travis Kelce is back in the limelight after a brief vacation with Taylor Swift—and if the Swifties went crazy over his Zoom background from a recent interview, they’re going to have a lot of thoughts about his latest podcast episode.

Switching over from interviewee to interviewer, Travis and his brother Jason Kelce welcomed Arnold Schwarzenegger onto New Heights…and Travis did not heed Jason’s previous advice about baiting “conspiracy theorists” on the podcast. “I might name my first kid Conan,” he told Schwarzenegger, referencing the 76-year-old’s 1982 movie Conan the Barbarian.

Suddenly I’m getting flashbacks to Travis Barker telling the world he wanted to name his and Kourtney Kardashian’s son Rocky, partially inspired by Sylvester Stallone’s famous boxing films. Despite his own daughter’s protests, the Blink-182 drummer got his wish.

Of course, Travis Kelce probably knew exactly what he was doing when he threw that quip out there. After all, Jason warned him against these kind of statements when he sparked baby and engagement discourse among Swifties with just one joke. Last month Travis sent fans spiraling while comparing basketball player Victor Wembanyama to lab-grown diamonds. “Lab-grown diamonds, that’s a lab-grown fucking NBA player,” he said. “Can’t wait till I fuckin’ make one.”

Travis Kelce Sent Taylor Swift Fans Spiraling With Engagement and Baby Hints
This man is playing with fire.

Can’t wait to make a lab-grown ball player or a lab-grown diamond, Travis? Jason saw those follow-up questions coming a mile away, telling his brother, “Don’t do this. Do not give any of these other conspiracy theorists anything else to latch onto, please.”

Well, now he’s done it again, so it seems like Taylor Swift must not mind her boyfriend teasing her fans like this. Frankly, the newly minted billionaire is probably too busy preparing for the release of The Tortured Poets Department to worry about what the NFL player is saying on his podcast and in interviews—especially after Kelce told People that he’s the “happiest I’ve ever been.”

“I’m a guy that some people say is glass half full, half empty, and my glass is all the way full,” he said earlier this month. “It’s all the way full. I’m oozing life right now.” Now, that, I’m sure she was thrilled to hear.
