The release of the footage led to the family posting a statement about the incident: “There has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” it continued “Jay and Solange… have apologised to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”Both the sisters are accomplished musicians ( Image: Frank Micelotta/REX/Shutterstock) On Beyoncé’s self-titled album, the remix to her track titled ‘Flawless,’ is suggested to reference the incident: “Of course sometimes s*** go down when there’s a billion dollars in an elevator.”

Many fans and critics believe that this album was a ‘Cathartic release’ for Beyoncé as songs on the album were centred around adultery and forgiveness.
Additionally, it was also where the singer experimented with her sound as she delved into genres including Rock, Blues, and Country.
The song ‘Sorry,’ stood out amongst her fanbase the “BeyHive,” not only as a defiant break-up song but there was a figure described as “Becky with the good hair,” which left them trying to connect the dots to whom Beyoncé was referencing.
