Draymond Green admits being upset about LeBron James doing podcast with JJ Reddick instead of him

Draymond Green is upset that close friend LeBron James preferred to do his own podcast with JJ Redick rather than team up with him

The LeBron James and JJ Reddick podcast is already making headlines. Two of the most brilliant minds to play the game, to talk in-depth about basketball, has caught everyone’s attention. But close friend Draymond Green is upset with the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, as he would have liked if James was on his podcast first.

After the announcement and release of a trailer went viral, Draymond Green talked about this collaboration on his podcast.

I must say I'm a little upset that LeBron James is like going on a podcast, and he still hasn't been on the Draymond Green show. But when it's your own thing you kinda can't say anything, so I guess I'll live with it for now. Pick the bone with him that I gotta pick with him later.

Green spoke on his podcast “The Draymond Green Show”

Green would have liked it if James went on his podcast first, before launching his own. But he has still kept the option open, expecting the Los Angeles Lakers superstar to be a guest on his show.

The two have been close friends for a long time. So naturally the defensive ace would feel bad that James elected to go with his own podcast production, when Green already had one going. The Golden State Warriors superstar insinuated that even he likes to talk basketball.

However, Green did acknowledge that when one is about to host and produce their own show, they may not appear on another one. But it does sound like a missed opportunity for the 34-year-old as LeBron James is the first true elite NBA player currently to get on to the podcasting game.

The LeBron James and JJ Reddick podcast is beating out Draymond Green and others

LeBron James used to have a talk show earlier, but that was more about experiences and banter. The recently launched podcast focuses strictly about basketball. James combined with JJ Reddick, who is considered to be one of the best minds to have played the game, is a move to ensure that all the talk surrounds basketball only.

The trailer video of ‘Mind the Game’ caused so much hype that their channel has already notched up more than double the subscribers in one day than Draymond Green’s podcast has done in all this time. Their first full episode has 970k views at the time of this article.

LeBron James is the all-time greatest scorer in history. He is also revered as one of the best basketball minds to ever play the game. There is a reason fans and Draymond Green want to hear from him.
