Countryfile viewers were left concerned for host Adam Henson after the BBC show aired on Easter Sunday.
Eagle-eyed viewers flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss their reactions to Adam’s appearance on the popular BBC show after a worrying scene. As the latest episode aired, viewers were left concerned for the farmer and TV personality, 58, after it appeared he had suffered a mystery injury.
The Countryfile host visited Trent Valley during the latest episode of the agricultural programme, however, eagle-eyed fans were left distracted due to a mystery mark on his face. Several viewers took to social media to guess and suggest what could have happened to Adam’s face as he failed to address his facial mark.
The deep scratch on the TV presenter’s face sparked concern among BBC viewers, as one wrote: “Ouch! That looks mega sore. Hope Adam is okay? I wonder what happened to him.” Another echoed: “Has Adam been kicked in the face by a rare breed #Countryfile.”

Someone else quipped: “Adam needed to explain the elephant in the room…p***ed and walked into a door? #countryfile.” While someone else agreed: “I hope Adam’s alright but he could have mentioned the huge gash in his face. What’s going on here then eh.”
“Looks like he’s burned his face on some hair straighteners lol,” another BBC viewer mocked. While someone else wrote: “Watching Countryfile and the presenter looks like he’s developed a birthmark on his right cheek since his last appearance.”

Adam has been a Countryfile staple since 2001, and while he doesn’t share many details about his private life he did keep fans updated after undergoing surgery in 2022. Two years ago, Adam underwent an operation on his hip and told his fans on social media that it would take him some time to recover.
At the time, he wrote: “It’s now been pretty much 12 hours since I had my hip resurfacing operation. The feeling in my legs and waist have all come back now, pretty much my right leg, which is the leg I had done, is still a bit tingly and a bit weird. I’ve never really had surgery quite like this before, it does make me feel for all those people that have gone through things an awful lot worse.”
