Also, Sharpe said that he would not be disappointed if Luka wins the title. He also see Luka as a deserving candidate for the KIA NBA MVP Award in 2024. However, Smith was found defending Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. SGA will be the MVP for the NBA 2024 season, according to Stephen A. Smith.
Shannon was asked, “Do you think Jokic would be the MVP?”
“I do, the consistency, and I think sometimes Stephen A, you know, you have been a voter for this, and sometimes the guy numbers are just so consistent across the board like Jordan. I mean, after you see him average 33,5 and 5 for like 6 years in a row, you’re like, What’s so special about it? Or Giannis is doing what he’s doing, or LeBron, when in his prime, was doing what he was doing, I think Nikola Jokic is going to win the MVP. He’s third in about five to six years, and I think if Luka won it, I wouldn’t be disappointed because I don’t know if anybody is noticing, but he has always been great. He is taking his play to another level; I think Nikola is going to win it.” Shannon Sharpe said.
Stephen A. Smith Gave Shannon Sharpe Reasons for His Pick
After hearing from Sharpe, Smith also has his point; he gave his opinion on his pick for the KIA NBA MVP 2024.
I’m going to give you the last word on this subject while I throw this by. Let me see if I can change your mind. We recognise the greatness of the reigning defending champion, as is Nikola Jokic in the NBA finals MVP. My choice right now is Shai Gilgeous-Alexander; he is the number 1 seed in the West as we speak. He has played 71 of 74 games this year; he is third in the NBA, averaging 30.3 behind Luka and Giannis only; he has had an NBA high of 50 games with 30 or more points this season; he leads the league in assists. He is shooting a career-high 53.9% from the field, 58% on two shots, and 36.5% on three-point range. In four games against Denver, they are 3-1. He is averaging between 26 and 5.
It will be interesting to see who is correct in the accurate prediction of the KIA NBA MVP Award winner for the 2023–2024 season.
