A game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors serves both a premium game of basketball and a dose of star power in the arena. It wasn’t different this time as last night’s encounter witnessed the presence of serial Champions League winner Gareth Bale, who caught up with multiple NBA title winner Steph Curry.

Steph Curry was seen greeting the former LAFC and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale and then giving him a signed jersey before posing for photographs. A clip of the magical meeting has gone viral on social media and garnered the attention of both soccer and basketball lovers.

Bale is used to the city, having starred for and ending his career with the LAFC. But he is best known for his time at Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League, three FIFA Club World Cups, and three La Liga titles and scored 106 goals, as well as creating 67 assists in 258 appearances.

The game was a good one for Curry as his team had a historic night, winning 134-120 and securing the all-important tie-breaker against the Lakers. Curry ended the game with 23 points, seven rebounds and eight assists.

Steph Curry and Gareth Bale to team up for golf tour

As announced, Golden State Warriors veteran guard Steph Curry and former LAFC player Gareth Bale will come together for a golf tour with “Underrated Golf.” Both legends have a passion for the sport, as Bale is known to have had a golf simulator at the Wales team compound and a three-hole course at his compound, and Curry who has an initiative of making golf more inclusive for all.

The partnership between two stars from two different sports taking part in a unique event has generated a lot of traction from lovers of both sporting worlds. With the influence they both have, the competition is expected to attract lots of viewers both on the course and via TV numbers.

The tournament comes to London on the 29th of May, and fans can expect a fantastic experience as Curry hopes to make golf as a sport accessible in line with his company’s mission. Adding to that, the presence of Bale and other celebrities will help with the publicity.
