Rocker Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley were spotted at the celebrity hot spot Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on Friday night.

The 61-year-old Bad Medicine singer — who is rarely glimpsed on public dates with his wife of 35 years — wore a white, crew neck sweater, jeans and a distressed leather jacket with a smile on his face.

His high school sweetheart wife, also 61, wore chic brown leather pants, a navy jacket and a white, gray and pink patterned scarf draped artfully on her torso.

The longtime couple — who are parents to Stephanie, 30; Jesse, 28; Jake, 21; and Romeo, 19 — met up with friends for dinner during their visit to Los Angeles.

Jon and Dorothea met while in high school. ‘I was immediately drawn to her from the minute I saw her — and that’s never changed — 40 years ago,’ he told People in 2020.

Jon Bon Jovi opens up about his sons recent engagement

He said the key to their four decade plus love story is that they work on it hard and have ‘mutual respect.’

‘Having grown up together and grown together. And we really like each other. We want to hang out,’ he told the outlet.

The couple originally met in 1980 while attending Sayreville War Memorial High School in New Jersey where the Runaway rocker admitted: ‘she let me cheat off her in history!’

‘I always said I was good at spotting potential too. I have a gift,’ his ‘rock’ Dorothea gushed, adding: ‘He’s cute. I’m shallow. I’ll admit it!’

Jon added: ‘We enjoy each other and we never fell for the trappings of what celebrity can do.

‘We’ve witnessed that happen over the years to people that were close to us and people that we knew from afar.

‘It’s just what I do, it’s not who I am. I write songs. I happen to be very good at performing them. That’s it,’ he said.

The Wanted: Dead or Alive hitmaker was named MusiCares Person of the Year on Friday and will be honored on February 2 in Los Angeles.

The organization called the Bon Jovi singer ‘a rock and roll trailblazer, influencing countless artists over the years.’

But that’s not the only reason Jon is being honored. He is also a major philanthropist.

Jon and Dorothea have run the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation since 2006.

The foundation aims to end hunger and homelessness through their pay-what-you-can Soul Kitchen restaurants and food bank.

Dorothea said: ‘It’s a partnership. When we see injustice or people suffering, you want to help. We’re very blessed, and we have the ability to do that.’

‘I’m happiest,’ Jon said, ‘if I like what I do for a living, I’m doing right by my family and I’m making the world just a little bit better.’
