Nu metal legends Linkin Park have announced a new song titled “Friendly Fire.”

Recorded during the sessions for 2017’s “One More Light” album, the piece features vocals by the band’s late frontman Chester Bennington.

The news of Chester’s posthumous release comes through Linkin Park’s social media posts.

For this occasion, they just shared a brief 30-second teaser clip of the song.

However, as of the time this is being written, there’s still no information about when the song will be released.

Shinoda did talk about the song a few years ago, revealing that there was unused material from the sessions.

He also revealed that “Friendly Fire” was co-written by Jon Green, who collaborated with the band on Chester’s final album.
