This year, Arnold Schwarzenegger is being extra generous while celebrating the festive season even though he finally ended his decade-long — and expensive — divorce battle with Maria Shriver.

The former California governor helped the veterans in Los Angeles by providing them a place to stay ahead of the Christmas holiday.

The former bodybuilder champ shared his charity work with his followers on Instagram.

“Today, I celebrated Christmas early,” he wrote. “The 25 homes I donated for homeless veterans were installed here in LA. It was fantastic to spend some time with our heroes and welcome them into their new homes.”

Schwarzenegger also expressed his gratitude to all the parties contributing to his project.

“I want to thank @villageforvets for arranging the homes and being a fantastic partner, @secvetaffairs, @amvetshq and everyone who worked with us and made this possible,” he added.

“We proved that when we all work together, we can solve any problem.”

FOX11 reported that the 74-year-old actor spent $250,000 to purchase the complex featuring 25 tiny homes in West Los Angeles.

The father of five spoke to the outlet, claiming he considered the donation as “the greatest Christmas gift.”

“It makes me feel good that I can give something back to this country that has given everything to me,” Schwarzenegger said.

“I had this great success, only because of America…Whatever I tackled, I achieved because of America, so to me it’s always great to give something back.”

After 10 years of waiting, a judge entered their divorce into the system on Tuesday, making it legal.

One of the reasons the process took so long was their complex property settlement agreement. The two did not have a prenuptial agreement when they tied the knot in 1986.

Following the legal separation, the former couple reportedly divided their estimated net worth of $400 million straight down the middle.

Shriver filed for divorce in 2011 after being married to the actor for 25 years. The journalist decided to end her marriage after learning about her husband’s romance with their housekeeper Mildred Patricia “Patty” Baena.

Schwarzenegger also has a fifth child named Joseph Baena stemming from his cheating scandal with Patty.
