But Miley Cyrus made a fashion statement as she she toted around a cannabis themed bag while out with her mother Tish Cyrus in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

The singer, 28, brandished a luxury Philip Karto bag decorated with a massive marijuana leaf.

The women were spotted shopping at Ben Soleimani furniture store in West Hollywood, checking out various new carpeting.

Miley kept it casual with a white T-shirt, belted black trousers, and chunky shoes.

Despite going for a more a laid-back look, the outfit was still dressed up with bits of glam.

Accessorizing the ensemble was a gold lip print necklace, shades, a chunky metallic bracelet, and a massive ring.

She pulled her dirty blonde locks back with a trendy blue claw clip from Emi Jay, while wavy fringe skimmed over her eyes.

Tish was a vision of style wearing a knotted Motley Crue T-shirt, loose jeans, and comfortable sneakers.

She added a pop of glam with a green purse with massive gold chain strap.

The outing comes more than a year after Tish confirmed her daughter had quit since undergoing vocal cord surgery in November – despite previously being an advocate for the drug.

Miley has long been a proponent of smoking and legalizing marijuana, famously lighting a joint up on stage during her 2013 MTV EMAs performance in Amsterdam.

Speaking on the Chicks in the Office podcast, Tish said: ‘Everybody thinks Miley is like this wild thing.

‘First of all, Miley doesn’t even smoke pot anymore. She smokes CBD only. She doesn’t drink. She’s the cleanest person I know. She’s like, she’s just so solid.’

While Miley may have stopped smoking weed, Tish- who also has Brandi, 34, Trace, 32, Braison, 27, and Noah, 21, with husband Billy Ray Cyrus – confessed she enjoys the drug with her family and has found it has made their gatherings much calmer.

She said: ‘Even a few years ago, I would never consider smoking pot with my family, but now I do. It’s really nuts because, now that they’re older, we’re also friends.

‘I really love it. I just think there are so many benefits that come from it.

‘When all five kids are together, they always find something to argue about. When everybody is smoking, that does not happen at all.’
