The Milwaukee Bucks now have a mountain to climb after losing to the Indiana Pacers, 126-113, in Game 4 on Sunday night. The Bucks are now facing a seemingly insurmountable 3-1 series deficit against Indiana as the Bucks continue to deal with injuries to their stars.

Giannis Antetokounmpo hasn’t played in the entire series, while Damian Lillard ended up getting scratched for Game 4. Khris Middleton played through a foot injury, which actually forced him to the locker room on Sunday, only to return and finish the contest.

At this point, things aren’t looking good for the Bucks.

Milwaukee Bucks News: Doc Rivers Nowhere Near Ready to Give Up

Despite the gargantuan task they have in front of them, Bucks head coach Doc Rivers still believes that his team is capable of defying the odds. The silver lining here is that Game 5 heads back to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, which should give the Bucks a significant advantage.

“It’s just one game at a time,” Rivers said, via Eric Nehm of The Athletic. “Here’s the deal, we have two games left at home, they have one game left at home. That’s how you can look at it. So, the first thing is we have to win the first game at home and then we can talk about the rest after that.”

As Rivers said, Game 6 will take place in Indiana, while the seventh and final game of the series will be back in Milwaukee. Clearly, Coach Doc intends to win all three remaining games in this series.
