Pierce Brosnan has been voted the worst James Bond actor of all time in a new poll.
The Navan-born star, who played 007 in four of the 25 movies, came sixth with fans of the spy franchise. Daniel Craig, who played the MI5 maverick in five flicks, topped the poll with an average movie rating of 7.56 out of 10.
Scottish actor Sean Connery – hailed by many as the iconic Bond – came second with a score of 7.33 out of ten. In a surprise move, Timothy Dalton, who starred in The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill, got an average rating of 6.9.
George Lazenby, who played the Ian Fleming character just once in On His Majesty’s Secret Service, garnered a 6.85 rating for his performance. Eyebrow-raising Roger Moore, who played Bond in six flicks including Live and Let Die, came fifth with a score of 6.66.
And Goldeneye star Pierce Brosnan, who took on the iconic role in four Bond movies, came sixth and last with a 6.65 average rating.
The survey by No Deposit Friend comes as Aaron Taylor-Johnson is tipped to take on the role as the next 007.
Fans voted the 2006 flick Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig and Eva Greene, as the best Bond film of all time.

No Time to Die and Goldfinger were tied for second place with Judi Dench’s last 007 movie Skyfall in third.
Craig also starred in Skyfall, the franchise’s highest-grossing film, which generated box office figures of $ 1.1 billion.
Stephen Ellis, of No Deposit Friend, said: “Each actor has left their mark on the franchise and contributed to its legacy.
“As a new actor steps into the iconic role, it offers an opportunity to witness fresh interpretations and perspectives breathed into the character.”
This week Mamma Mia and Mrs Doubtfire star Brosnan, 70, backed Taylor-Johnson for the iconic spy role, declaring: “I think the man has the chops and the talent and the charisma to play Bond.”
