“Million Dollar Marco” was at it again this week, showing how he lives up to his nickname.
The notorious sports bettor has DraftKings hurting badly this week after the Minnesota Timberwolves pulled the upset win over the Mavericks in Game 4 to not only stop a potential sweep but also secure a $3.2 million parlay payout for “Million Dollar” Marco Piemonte.
“Million Dollar” Marco began it all by staking $200,000 on a 15/1 parlay that included four bets, three of which were MLB wagers on Monday: the Nationals (+110) over the Braves, the Giants (-135) over the Phillies, and the Rockies (+100) over the Guardians.
All three bets paid off, with the Nationals and Giants both winning 8-4 and the Rockies winning 8-6.
He only needed one more leg.
With +110 odds to win the Western Conference finals on the road against the Mavericks, the Timberwolves faced elimination on Tuesday and somehow pulled it off. Piemonte announced on Instagram that he would give away a car, a Rolex watch, and some cash if Minnesota won Game 4. Piemonte resides in a home close to Chicago and owns numerous vehicle businesses around Illinois.
The Timberwolves won, and “Million Dollar Marco” walked away with $3.2 million.

Sports bettor Marco Piemonte secured a payout worth $1,578,783.10 last year after the Philadelphia Eagles bested the Kansas City Chiefs.
After winning a $40,000 wager and a 13-leg parlay, “Million Dollar Marco” lived up to his moniker. Four NBA wagers, two college football games, and seven NFL games made up the winning parlay. The majority of the bets were spreads that alternated, per Daily Mail.
Ultimately, Piemonte used the Eagles-Chiefs game to hedge the last point in his parlay. Piemonte placed a $500,000 stake on the Chiefs-2, hoping that Kansas City would win by a field goal rather than more than ten points.
It resulted in his actual profit going down to $1,078,038.10, but a win is a win.
